The Queen drinks Malvern Water- sourced from the Holywell Spring!
Her Majesty the Queen has once again had the opportunity to drink her reputedly preferred Malvern Water- this time sourced from the Holywell Spring, as her great great great grandmother Queen Victoria famously did, following the Great Exhibition at the Crystal Palace. The Queen dined at Floral Pavillion Theatre in the Wirral on the 2nd of December 2011 at a luncheon, with Holywell Spring Water sourced especially for the occasion. The event coordinator was delighted to have found the original Malvern Water following Coca- Cola’s shock axing of the world famous brand.

Holywell Spring Water has been linked with an unusual and exciting new project- soap! The brainchild of the highly creative Helen Martin, The Malvern Soap Company uses a variety of locally sourced products. Helen continues “I came up with the idea when people asked me if there was anything they could take away from the town with the word “Malvern” on it- since the closure of Coca Cola’s Malvern Water there was nothing. The judges noted that “Holywell had done an excellent job of creating a fast growth brand from nothing and the business could only go from strength to strength”. June 2011 Chamber of Commerce Most Promising New Business Finalist
Worcestershire’s most exciting new enterprises have locked horns in a bid to win the coveted title of Most Promising New Business 2011. Fighting off stiff competition from 13 entrants, Holywell Spring Water has been nominated as finalist alongside of NinetyFive Creative and Areca Design. Holywell Director Rhys Humm said “We got through to the final after a very rigorous interview with three judges, who asked us searching questions about how we got where we are, and, more importantly, where we want to be in the next three years”. The winner of this valued award will be announced on the 21st of July at an awards ceremony held at Worcester Cathedral. “The whole team will be going,” said Mr Humm. “It would be a great accolade for the area if we won.”

December 2010 Time to hit the London market
Claude Bosi is now amongst the admirers of Holywell Spring Water, using both the still and sparkling in his latest venture. The double Michelin starred chef is said to be impressed with the quality of the water and its stylish presentation. Our growing London customer base means we are now delivering on a weekly basis into central London.
November 2010 New 330ml bottling line as Holywell expands
Following the closure of Malvern Water it was imperative for our loyal customer base that there is a Holywell 330ml bottle. Early estimations suggested a 3 month period to realise this possibility- with some creative problem solving and a very large dose of hard work we have realised a beautifully designed 330ml bottle which is just filtering it’s way into our customer’s hands now as seen on the front of our webpage
October 2010- Coca- Cola closes Malvern Water
Following more than 12 months of speculation Coca Cola aanounce they are to close their Malvern Water plant, making it’s 17 employees redundant. Holywell Director Rhys Humm and Operations Manager Anthony Arnold were contacted by several national newspapers. The news is immensley sad for the area as Malvern was built on it’s water; the team at Holywell are immensely proud to now fly the flag for the original source of Malvern Water.
September 2010- We’ve got the X Factor!!!
There have been several reported sightings of Holywell Spring Water being in used in the X Factor finalists house… Finalist Harry Styles is requested to be “The Mole” showing viewers around the house.
